Strange practices of shipboard life volume 793: Rum and baccy.

I am so glad I got to grow up in the late 20th century after the discovery of antibiotics. I am sure our grandchildren will think of us as barbarians – “they used to cut cancer out of people?!? And then irradiate and poison them!?!?!?! That’s outrageous!”

Reminds me of “We didn’t mean to go to sea” with the bottle “For medicinal use only.”

Pass my medicine.
